The Chambre Perse is named after its exotic Persian-syle vintage French wallpaper. It’s a large, dramatic room, with huge windows swathed in yellow Sudbury silk. It is furnished with French Belle Epoque antiques. It has a door leading to the Chambre des Oiseaux, a large twin room, named after the blue peacocks on its wallpaper. This suite is perfect for families.

There is a kettle to make tea in the silver teapot or to fill the hot water bottle provided. And a crystal decanter of sherry to enjoy whilst getting dressed for dinner. The two rooms share a dramatic red bathroom with a deep, antique claw foot cast iron bath.
